Take a Trip on the Santa Express

Join Rudolph and Santa Claus, aboard the Santa Express. Leaving from Honesdale on the Strourbridge Rail Line this round-trip ride to Hawley will give kids a chance to meet and greet Santa and his red-nosed buddy. Pictures can be taken with Santa and Rudolph, holiday sing-a-longs will ring out, and a special gift will be given to the kids. Tickets are $20/adults and $15/children 12 and under. Departure times are 10a.m. and 2p.m. Reservations are required.

Get Creative With Your Kids

Visit The Banana Factory in Bethlehem to explore the works of other artists, or get involved and create your own. The Banana Factory celebrates many local art endeavors and offers the public classes on visual and digital arts as well as glassblowing, jewelry making and ceramics. Explore Hidden Worlds

Take a day trip to the Everhart Museum in Scranton, PA to check out their Ancient Microworlds exhibit from June 12th - September 7th. The exhibit features stunning macrophotography by Giraud Foster, a retired physician, archeologist and photographer and Norman Baker, a scientific photographer. Each photo is sure to give its observer a whole new appreciation of ancient artifacts through a dazzling array of colors and shapes.
